When max velocity and/or rapid velocity is limited with sliders in Axis, Shift + Arrow keys still go full speed. In MDI mode both limits work for G0.
Tested in LinuxCNC 2.7.4

Unless I’m misunderstanding your report, this is the intended design. Can you elaborate on what you expect to happen with arrow and shift-arrow?

OK, I can understand why rapid override doesn’t affect this velocity. Let it override only G0.
But if the machine is explicitly told to limit its maximum velocity, why in some modes it doesn’t?
It’s logical that max velocity slider should override every possible velocity.

WIth arrow keys I expect Jog velocity
With Shift + arrow I expect max machine velocity. Shown just below and adjusted with the slider.
