LinuxCNC Uspace Master deb from buildbot 7/27/16 installed in Debian Wheezy with Preempt RT.
Start Axis sim and click on Machine > Calibration or Machine > Show Hal Configuration and nothing happens and no errors are reported even with DEBUG=0x7fffffff.

As a temporary fix you can run LinuxCNC from a shell with the following commands
$ export LINUXCNCVERSION=999
$ export LINUXCNC_EMCSH=wish
$ export LINUXCNCTCLDIR=/usr/lib/tcltk/linuxcnc/
$ linuxcnc nameofini_file.ini

it was suggested that this commit broke some things for debs…
