[Grbl_Esp32 Issue#258] Homing rotation axis? About GRBL HAL

I was wondering how I can home A axis?
I would like to add a home sensor but don’t need a limit sensor. Is this possible? I know the homing sequence uses a limit sensor.

I have done this on several machines. I used a roller microswitch and a bump on the actuator. It activates the switch, but can be rolled past.

It should not be used with hard limits

Hi Bart,

I think when you enable homing you must enable hard limits. Is this right or you can enable just homing?

Both soft and hard limits are off by default.
